Hello and welcome! I hold a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I specialized in American politics. During the 2019-2020 year, I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oklahoma, where I am researching incivility and partisan rivalry among the American mass public.
Broadly, my research interests include political behavior, political communication, polarization, elections, and state politics. In my dissertation, I investigated the effects of the top-two primary reform for elections and representation in Washington and California. My research is published in Political Communication and Electoral Studies.
