Hello and welcome! I hold a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I specialized in American politics. During the 2019-2020 year, I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oklahoma.
Broadly, my research interests include political behavior, political communication, polarization, elections, and state politics. In my dissertation, I investigated the consequences of the top-two primary reform for elections and representation in California and Washington. My research is published or forthcoming in Political Communication and Electoral Studies.
